The UCR Turfgrass Research Advisory Committee (UCRTRAC), consisting of 18 industry, university and government organization partners, was established in 1996 to form an industry-wide linkage between UCR and the turfgrass industries in southern California. Recently, other organizations which are indirectly involved with turfgrass have joined UCRTRAC. Contributing member organizations make financial contributions to UCRTRAC research and education efforts and Affiliate member organizations provide additional expertise, experience and insight which increases the ability of UCRTRAC to achieve its mission, vision and goals. Every dollar donated to UCRTRAC has helped to generate approximately 1.7 dollars in turf research grants, January 1996 to present.
